SMCS is excited to invite all ladies and girls of all ages to a joyful and cultural gathering to celebrate Sankranti Haldi-Kunku and Sneh-Milan!

Event Details:

• Date: February 2, 2025, Sunday
• Time: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
• Venue: Sanatan Mandir, Fort McMurray Basement (108 Abraham Landing)

Program Schedule:

• 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Welcome & Haldi-Kunku Ceremony (as guests arrive)
• 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Fun Activities (Games, Dance, and more!)
• 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Light Refreshments

Although Haldi-Kunku is traditionally for married women, we are delighted to include Sneh-Milan, an opportunity for all ladies and girls to participate. This is a wonderful occasion to connect, celebrate, and experience our culture in an enjoyable way. It’s a great way for young girls to learn about our traditions and build connections to Hinduism.
