SMCS is arranging Clay Ganapati Workshop for children and youth. Details are as below.

*  CLAY  GANAPATI  WORKSHOP  *

Date :  31st August   & 2nd September, 2024

Time : 1 pm to 4 pm

Age Limit : 

• Children in grade 4 to 6 -(must be accompanied by one parent/guardian at all times) 
• Children/youth in grade 7 or above (without parents/guardian )  

This is a 2 days workshop and children need to attend both the days to complete the Ganapati Murti.

1st Day (31st Aug.)  -  Making the Ganapati with Clay.

2nd Day (2nd Sept.) – painting and decorating the Murti.

Children can take Ganapati Murti with them on 2nd September or keep it in Mandir. If they choose to keep it in Mandir, kids can walk with their Murti during the main Ganapati procession around the Mandir and it will be displayed in Mandir for public viewing during Ganpati Pooja on 14th  September 2024 . Also they can do Visarjan at the end of Ganapati pooja or take home.

·  $11  cash (Material cost + Donation) will be required from each participant.

·  We have only 70 spots available for this workshop(on  first come first serve basis ),
