Dear All,

SMCS is arranging Diwali & Annakut Celebration on 27th Oct 2019. All are invited to participate with family & friends in this holy festival.

Annakut is a Hindu festival in which devotees prepare and offer a large variety of vegetarian food to the murtis of Paramatma(God) as a mark of gratitude.

Date: 27th October 2019, Sunday

Event Outline:
1:30 PM – Annakut preparation & Decoration
5:00 PM – Annakut Celebration
8:30 PM – Maha Prasad

Venue:  Holy Trinity High School, 230 Powder Dr, Fort McMurray, AB T9K 2W6

This year we are inviting Kids & Youth to give a small speech on the Diwali festival. We are accepting the nomination on a first cum first serve basis by registering names to Vaibhav Chemburkar @ 780-215-8735.

• Speech length shall be 3 to 5 mins max.

No event can be successful without volunteers’ support. Members who would like to volunteer in this event are requested to contact any of the SMCS Executive Committee members. Volunteers are required to be present at the facility at 1:30 PM.
