To all SMCS Members and Devotees,

SMCS is arranging “Diwali & Annakut Celebration 2023“. All are invited to participate with family & friends in this grand festival.

Annakut is a Hindu festival in which devotees prepare and offer a large variety of vegetarian food to the murtis of Paramatma (God) as a mark of gratitude.

Date: 12th November 2023, Sunday

Event Outline:
08:30 AM to 10:00 AM- Annakut Preparation
10:00 AM to 11:15 AM – Annakut Celebration
11:15 AM to 11:30 AM – Aarti, Thal
11:30 AM to 12:00 Noon – Annakut Darshan
12:00 Noon to 01:30 PM – Maha Prasad

No event can be successful without a volunteer’s support. Members who would like to volunteer in this event are requested to contact any of SMCS executive committee members. Volunteers are required to be present at the facility by 07:30 AM.

Annakut Prasad Preparation:

Thanks to everyone who already sent us the prasad names of what they planned to offer God.

We are still accepting names if you have missed them earlier. Members who would like to bring Annakut Prasad, kindly contact Bhagwatiben Patel at 780-607-0911

All are requested to arrange delivery of Prasad to the venue between 07:30 AM to 08:30 AM

Mandir timing during Diwali festival week:

November 10th, Friday -> 10:45-12:00 & 17:30-20:00

November 11th, Saturday -> 10:00-12:00 & 15:00-20:00

November 14th, Tuesday -> 09:00-12:00 & 17:00-20:00
