Sanatan Mandir Cultural Society of Fort McMurray is pleased to invite all community members for Rath Yatra in Fort McMurray.

Devotees from Hare Krishna Mandir Edmonton will join this spiritual event and assist us from start to finish.

Rath Yatra, also called Chariot Festival, is a Hindu festival that involves transporting deities Lord Jagannatha (Krishna), Balarama & Subhadra on a Rath (Chariot). The procession will be held in Eagle Ridge. All the way through there will be melodious singing, chanting and dancing to rhythmical drums and cymbals.

Event Location: 460 Killdeer Way, Eagle Ridge, Fort McMurray
Mangla Aarti: 7.30AM at Interim Mandir
Procession Time: 9.30AM to 12 noon
Procession Route: Starts from Sparrowhawk Drive, Loutit Road and ends at WGH Public School (Eagle Ridge)
Prasad & Bhajans: 12.30 PM to 2 PM @ Walter and Gladys Hill (WGH) Public School (Eagle Ridge)
